TERSAVIA FOR DAY SPAS

Day spa software that books the whole visit, not three separate appointments.

A spa day is a facial, then a massage, then a manicure — three rooms, three providers, one guest who expects it to flow. A calendar built around single appointments treats each as a stranger to the others. Multi-service itineraries, packages, gift cards, and memberships are all free.

A day spa using Tersavia

One guest, three services, three calendars

The defining problem of a day spa is the sequence. A guest books a facial at 10, a massage at 11:15, and a pedicure at 12:30 — each with a different provider, in a different room, with a gap in between that has to be exactly right. Book them one at a time and the guest ends up with an hour of waiting in a robe, or two services that overlap, or a pedicure chair that was taken by someone else while they were on the table.

Services are booked as one itinerary, so the sequence, the gaps between steps, and the rooms they need are all held together.

Your best staff are not interchangeable

Some of your team are cross-trained and can do a facial or a body treatment as the day demands. Others are specialists who only do one thing, and do it better than anyone. A schedule that treats everyone as the same will put the wrong person in the wrong room, and a schedule that treats everyone as a specialist will leave capacity empty.

Providers carry the services they perform, so cross-trained staff fill gaps and specialists stay where they are strongest.

The calendar spikes twice a year

Gift cards sell hardest in the holiday weeks and come back in January, when a wave of recipients all want to redeem at once. Bridal parties and group bookings add their own spikes on top, each needing several guests in several rooms on the same morning. A tool that handles these as one-off exceptions will have the front desk managing them with a spreadsheet.

Gift cards, group bookings, and packages are part of the free platform, so the busy weeks run on the same system as the quiet ones.

What a day spa risks losing in a migration

Two things: outstanding gift card balances and prepaid package balances. Both are value you owe guests, and both are easy to drop in a move, especially in the weeks after the holidays when the most cards are still unredeemed. Room and provider setup also rarely exports cleanly, so plan to rebuild it with the services each one performs.

Coming from Vagaro, the gift card, package, and membership reports import: card balances, the sessions left on each package, and live memberships. Members have no card on file yet, so their billing starts once one is added. Coming from Boulevard, client records, appointment history, your service menu, and staff setup come across, and gift cards and packages are set up on day one. We map rooms, providers, and service sequences with you before you go live.

Questions from day spa owners

Can a guest book a facial, a massage, and a manicure as one visit?

Yes. Services are booked together as a single itinerary, with the order and the gaps between them set in advance, so each room and provider is held for the right window rather than booked as three unrelated appointments.

Can I sell spa-day packages?

Yes. Group services into a package with a set sequence, sell it online or at the desk, and track redemptions per client. Packages are included in the free platform.

How are bridal and group parties handled?

A group booking reserves the rooms and providers for every guest together, so a party does not end up half-booked. Couples bookings work the same way, holding two of each at once.

Can I sell gift cards?

Yes. Gift cards are included free, with balances tracked as they are redeemed, which matters most in the January wave after holiday sales.

Can I schedule cross-trained and specialist staff differently?

Yes. Each provider is assigned the services they perform, so cross-trained staff can cover several service types while specialists are booked only for theirs.

Do you charge per provider or per location?

Neither. There is no per-user, per-room, or per-location charge for the platform. A second location costs the same as the first.

A spa menu is cheap to list and expensive to schedule.

The more services you offer under one roof, the more your software has to coordinate rooms, providers, and timing. Here’s what the major platforms charge in 2026, and how to calculate what you actually pay in about five minutes.
