Every feature below is included in Tersavia at no charge. The columns show what the same feature costs elsewhere.
The core platform
These are the things a spa cannot operate without. On most platforms they’re bundled into a tier that gets more expensive as your team grows.

What the base costs
- Tersavia
- $0
- Vagaro
- $30–$90/mo
- Mindbody
- ~$99–$699/mo per location
- Boulevard
- ~$176–$421/mo per location
- Mangomint
- ~$120/location + $10/user
- Fresha
- ~$19.95 solo / ~$14.95 per team member
Read the bottom row twice. Three of these price per location. Two price per person. Ours prices per nothing.
Add a second location on a per-location plan and your bill doubles. Hire a fifth provider on a per-user plan and it goes up again. Tersavia doesn’t change when you grow, because charging you for growing is a strange way to claim you’re invested in it.
The meter
This is where the category actually makes its subscription money — the features sold separately, one toggle at a time, each priced in units that are hard to forecast.
Intake forms & consent
Tersavia: Free
Elsewhere: Vagaro lists Forms at $10/mo
Clinical charting / SOAP notes
Tersavia: Free
Elsewhere: Bundled into the same Forms add-on above, or a higher tier — a paid line either way on most clinical platforms
Before/after photo & file storage
Tersavia: Free
Elsewhere: Vagaro lists Vagaro Drive from $10/mo
Online store & gift cards
Tersavia: Free
Elsewhere: Vagaro lists Online Shopping Cart at $10/mo
Transactional messaging
Tersavia: Free and unlimited — confirmations, reminders, booking notifications, cancellations
Elsewhere: Commonly capped, metered, or bundled into a messaging plan; a second reminder usually means buying one
Text marketing
Tersavia: Free platform, segment packs from $9
Elsewhere: Sold as credit tiers — one platform’s text plans run from $20/mo to $2,500/mo, and that’s about standard
Email marketing
Tersavia: Free platform, 5,000 sends a month free, packs above that
Elsewhere: Metered separately across the category, usually as credit tiers that step up with list size
Website builder
Tersavia: Not offered — we integrate with the site you have
Elsewhere: Vagaro lists MySite at $20/mo
Branded mobile app
Tersavia: Not offered
Elsewhere: Sold as a paid add-on across the category
Vagaro’s add-on prices above are list prices displayed in-product to account holders as of August 2026, not negotiated rates. Vendors change pricing; verify before deciding.
On messaging, specifically
Your reminders come from your number. Clients reply, and you get it.
Transactional messages are free and unlimited here — confirmations, reminders, booking notifications, cancellations. Not a bundled allowance, not a tier. Free forever, sent from your business’s own number, with replies routed back to you.
That last part is the one worth checking on your current platform. Most send transactional messages from a shared shortcode, so when a client texts back to move her appointment, it goes nowhere — into a number nobody at your business can read. And because those sends are usually capped, a second reminder before the appointment means buying a messaging plan.
SMS marketing, when you want it
Marketing campaigns are sold in segment packs. Small chunks, stackable — buy another mid-month if you run out — with optional auto-refill.
| Segments | Price |
|---|---|
| 200 | $9 |
| 500 | $22 |
| 1,000 | $40 |
| 2,500 | $89 |
| 5,000 | $159 |
Unused messages expire at the end of your billing month.
| Emails / month | Price |
|---|---|
| 5,000 | Free |
| 25,000 | $29 |
| 50,000 | $49 |
| 100,000 | $79 |
| 250,000 | $169 |
How a message is counted
One segment is 160 characters, or 70 if you use an emoji or a special character. A photo message counts as three. Those are carrier rules, not ours, and every platform in this category is billed the same way we are.
The difference is what you can see. You get a live segment counter while you’re composing, so you know what a message costs before you send it, and a receipt afterward that reads 2 segments × 400 recipients = 800 messages. The category norm is to call the unit a “credit,” deduct it from a balance, and never show you the arithmetic that got there.

A marketplace listing is sold as free marketing. Here’s what it often is instead: you run ads, a client sees them, searches your name, finds you in the platform’s directory, and books there. You just paid for that client twice — once in ad spend, once in commission. And the second payment never appears as a charge, because it’s subtracted before the money reaches you.
On a platform charging ~20% on top of ~3.5% processing, a $100 service nets about $76.50.
Your software company should not also be your competitor for your own clients.
We don’t run a directory. The clients you earn are yours, and we never take a cut of a booking.
So how do we make money?
Payment processing. One rate, one line, disclosed on the call before you sign anything.
That’s the entire model, and it has a consequence we’d rather state than hide: we only do better when you do. Not when you add a location. Not when you hire. Not when you forget you left a $10 toggle on for fourteen months.
If your revenue is flat, ours is flat. That’s the alignment, and it’s why the platform can be free without an asterisk.
What we don’t do
We’d rather you find this out here than three weeks in.
No website builder. We integrate with the site you already have. If you need a site built, that’s a different vendor.
No branded mobile app. Your clients book through your site and through their own confirmations.
No consumer marketplace. By design — but it does mean we send you zero clients. Your marketing is your marketing.
No annual contract, which cuts both ways. Nothing locks you in, and nothing locks us in either.
The paid modules, stated plainly
The booking platform is free forever when you process payments through Tersavia. These are the optional AI modules, each $99/mo, each cancellable:
- AI Reception — answers the phone, books into your calendar
- Google Ads — campaigns built, launched, and managed
- AI Video — short-form video content, produced and posted
- Social Media — posting and comment handling
- Blog & SEO — content published on your site
None of these are required. None of them gate anything in the free platform. If you never buy one, the platform still works exactly as described above.
Switching
The honest version:
What moves cleanly: client records, appointment history, service menus, staff, product catalog.
What doesn’t: saved card tokens. This is a PCI constraint, not a vendor being difficult — cards on file at one processor cannot be handed to another. Every platform migration in this industry has this problem. We handle it by recapturing cards at checkout as clients come in, which takes about a booking cycle.
What you should ask your current vendor before you leave: whether they’ll release your dedicated text number. It’s on your signage and saved in your clients’ phones, and it’s usually the hardest thing to get back.

Sources and caveats
Competitor figures are published list prices as of August 2026, drawn from vendor materials, in-product pricing screens, and third-party pricing coverage. Several platforms do not publish pricing publicly and are shown as ranges reported by reviewers. Vendors change pricing frequently — Mangomint restructured on August 1, 2026 — so verify current terms directly with any vendor before making a decision.
Our bias, stated plainly. We sell competing software and we want your business. Every claim above is checkable against the vendor’s own pricing page or your own invoice, and we’d rather you check than take our word.
